Lucky I'm in Love with my best friend

I don't know what it was about this weekend that just made it one of the best weekends ever, but it was!!! Maybe it was the fact that I feel so liberated from the gym that i can be free to do what i want... maybe it was the security of getting a raise, maybe it was the excitement that our dryer is fixed and it shouldn't take 5 times of drying to get the clothes dry, or maybe it was just that I got to spend time with my best friend and have fun, relax, and just play! Dustin has classes on Monday Wednesday Fridays until 7:45, so our Friday nights don't get started for until a little later... but while he was in class i felt super productive (vs last week where i took a two hour nap) and cleaned out the fridge, cleaned the dishes from the fridge, did some laundry, decorated the house a little more, and did some scan prep work. It was so great and felt great too! Then picked up dustin, we grabbed some dinner, and did a little shopping. Once home, we watched Dan in Real Life and i realized that HOLLY from the Office, like the Holly that BELONGS with Michael, is actually IN Dan in Real Life!!! So not only should Dan be with Marie, but with Holly, or his brother's wife or whoever she is in the show. It was slightly blowing my mind. And i loved it at the same time! Saturday was a normal teaching piano day, then I got home and Dustin had finished up the scan prep AND beat Donkey Kong. What a stud. ha ha ha. We had some lunch, chilled for a while, and then Dustin took me on a date to the Living Planet Aquarium that's in Draper/Sandy and then to the Mayan for some dinner and diving show. We then went to my fav, The Cheesecake Factory (since we were in the neighborhood of course) for some dessert to take home. Then we just chilled at home again, played some Banjo-Kazooie. Sunday we were supposed to teach our last substituting time in Primary but another set of teachers they called to team teach with who we were subbing for were there so they told us we could leave. But then one of the little girls started CRYING cuz we were leaving. So we decided to teach that one last week and just divide the class between teachers. It was great and fun and now we'll go to our real callings (I'm Primary Pianist and Dustin is Young Men's Secretary or something). Sunday afternoon we got to RELAX again and MAKE DINNER TOGETHER!!! It was our first Sunday meal as a married couple! We made some AWESOME pizza and salad that was REALLY good! Then we took a walk together, came back and made some cookies, then watched Return of the King, which I forgot is a LONG LONG LONG movie! It was just so nice and the weekend made me really so happy! I love spending time with Dustin and it seems like we really never get to spend much time together cuz we're so busy!
Dustin really gave me such a cute mother's day present too! he's been hiding pieces of paper around the house with the reasons why he loves me on them! It's something cute and fun to find every day! I really am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband that I love spending time with! He's my best friend ever and being married to him... well, it doesn't feel like much is ever different than before, we just live in the same place and i have a new last name (which i'm getting more used to now!) and it's great!! I swear I have the greatest husband ever!

Sounds like quite the weekend! How did you like the Mayan? Scott took me there (my first time) last weekend and I was so disappointed. The food wasn't just "okay" it was downright disgusting. Blech. All week we just kept saying, "That is 30 dollars we're never going to get back." Live and learn I guess! :)

Ha ha. I'm the primary pianist too and Will was the YM secretary at first, but then they changed the presidency and he's a counselor now. That's funny. I am glad you are having a good time. Being married is great huh. I hope it continues.

Huge Office fan, huh? We usually watch at least one episode before going to bed every night--it's great! Congrats on so many things: the raise, the fun weekend, etc. AND you have a cruise to look forward to!!
