June Date of the Month

June's date of the month was the greatest, if I do say so myself!

Dustin,

Let's swing to the rhythm of love!

Love,
Brianne

I know, I know that the lyrics are actually sway to the rhythm of love, but swing seemed much more appropriate for a baseball game, so I went with it.

Dustin was given tickets to a Mariner's game (swing), hotel reservations, and tickets to the EMP museum (rhythm) for a weekend getaway to Seattle (love)!

Dustin was on his break from school so I got off work early and we headed up to Seattle.  After checking into the hotel, we made our way to the game to cheer on the Mariners.  We got the cheap seats in the bleachers and I have to say that I loved those seats!  They were super comfy with a great view of the game.

And my favorite part? The garlic fries.  Oh mercy are those delicious!

After a good night's sleep we woke up Saturday morning and had an amazing breakfast and the hotel's restaurant.  We felt so fancy and grown up "charging it to our room" and ordering an unbelievable meal of crabcakes benedict with a side of fruit.  Yum!!

There was a marathon in Seattle that day so we drove by lots of runners as we made our way to Seattle City Center.  The EMP was pretty awesome.  There were so many things to see and we didn't have time to check it all out, but here are a few highlights:

We made a quick pit stop at Pike's Place to try out Beecher's "World's Best Mac and Cheese".  It was good, but I don't think you could call it world's BEST.  Gotta love Pike's Place fresh flower bouquets!

We had a fun weekend and a great date!
