K, so do any of you read the blog "Seriously So Blessed" ????????
Because I can't stand it! I mean, yes, sometimes she will have a great post like when she likened the economy to Britney Spears:

That was beautiful. But most of her stuff drives me nuts, especially how she spells almost everything wrong. I know it's not a serious blog so I try to not take it seriously, but it's RIDICULOUS. And it's ridiculous to me how much everything thinks it's hilarious! And so correct to the "Utah Mormon stereotype"
Am I wrong in thinking that Utahns are really aren't that retarded? That her stereotypes are WAY over the top? Because I KNOW I'm not retarded!!! And I know people with spelling issues, but no where near that bad. And only the highly sheltered Mormons would be that ignorant of the world. I don't know, it just drives me crazy how retarded she is.
If any of you read seriously so blessed and like it, please explain to me why.... cuz I don't see any real reasoning behind it.

I've read it and think it's kind of funny sometimes. I think she intentionally makes the stereotypes completely over the top to be funny - I don't think anyone really believes most people are that ridiculous.
I agree that Utah mormons are actually quite normal for the most part. Of all 4 normal family wards we've been in (2 out of state) they were very similar, same "groups" of people no matter where you live. It bothers me quite a bit when people say how different Utah mormons are, especially when they've never lived here!
I do think that Utah Mormons take some things for granted though that it are easier to appreciate out of Utah. I think it's okay to laugh at some of our silliness though. Don't let it bother you too much.
It drives me crazy sometimes when she goes way over the top. But sometimes I find myself laughing and thinking, oh... I do that. Or I have seen millions of people write the same types of things on their blog. I mostly think she's funny.
